Pensamientos

Paul's been in Iraq for nine months now. Two months remain before his tour of duty expires. The Sunni Triangle is a dangerous place. Five U.S. soldiers and a bunch of Iraqi civilians were killed today by suicide bombers. I'm a worried dad. Paul has a new temporary assignment. For the next two weeks he'll replace another Sgt. who is going on R&R leave. Paul tells me "Don't worry Dad", as his nightly patrols are in a Humvee that is armored, and it's safe. Right!! I hate this war. We never should have started it in the first place!
