I like reading other people´s blogs. It´s a wonderful and interesting way of gaining insight into the human spirit, because many writers are unihibited and reveal their true natures in a running stream of consciousness. Sometimes I feel like a voyeur, peering into the private lives of others, but prurient interest is not what fascinates me about these writings. Unguarded, free flowing thoughts, penned spontaneously, yields rare gems of personal, social, familial, political and technolgical perspectives. Often my own ideas are shattered or affirmed, but I always learn something new about human beings. For example, I´ve come to realize that irrespective of our heritage, nationality, culture, religion, race, gender or sexual orientation, that we are more alike than different. This aha moment, this epiphany, tends to humble and make me a kinder and gentler soul and less critical of differences in others. Blogging is giving voice to millions of silent ideas and allowing people throughout the world to communicate globally!
