Second Tour Once again my soldier's off to war Once again we count the anxious days Sad Days before he shuts the final door On family, friends and normal ways To fight for freedom in foreign lands Once again we sleepwalk in a daze And pray on bended knee with folded hands For safe return of this dear boy of ours Once again the flames of war have fanned The fires of dark, infinite, fretful hours- Once again my soldier's off to war

On the Move

My sweet daughter-in-law forwarded an e-mail from my son in Iraq today. His convoy is on the move and Kuwait is in sight. He should be away from the war zone tomorrow. I won't stop worrying until he's safely home. Praise the Lord!!
