The BBC reported several explosive attacks in Iraq today, resulting in both civilian and military casualties and deaths. The attack in Taji caused the deaths of five American soldiers. Taji is the base that my son Paul soldiered from in February of this year while relieving another sergeant who was on recreational leave. In an earlier blog, I wrote about Taji and re-printed a news article about its garbage-dump economy..
