Pensamientos

Since Paul my son returned from the war in iraq, I haven't written in this blog everyday. The war still occupies my thoughts, but the intense feelings and worries that I previously felt are gone. Daily, American soldiers suffer injury and death in Iraq. I deeply feel sorrow for their families. Daily, innocent Iraqi civilians die from terrorist bombings and shootings. I strongly feel the pain of their loss. The war goes on and my son is still a soldier, albeit back home in the USA. Life is different for our family now, but we realize that Paul could return to the war, and once again the daily anxiety would return. With this in mind, I continue to pray for the troops and their families and and to pray for peace.
